1. Booking and Payment
- All scan appointments must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or email.
- Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
- Prices are as listed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice.
- We accept payments via card or other methods as specified during booking.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-shows will incur a full charge for the appointment.

3. Scan Reports and Images
- We provide printed images and digital copies as part of your scan package.
- Additional digital images or videos may be available for an extra fee.
- Scan reports are provided for informational purposes and do not replace NHS scans or medical advice.
- You must continue to attend all NHS antenatal appointments.
4. Medical Disclaimer
- Our scans are performed by a qualified midwife and sonographer but are not a substitute for NHS medical care.
- We do not diagnose medical conditions; any concerns identified during scans should be followed up with your healthcare provider.
- We recommend you continue all routine NHS scans and appointments regardless of private scan results.
5. Attendance
- Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
- If you are late, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee full scan time.
- You may bring guests to your appointment. Please inform us if your group exceeds 5 people.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
- We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.
7. Liability
- The Scanning Midwife and its staff accept no liability for any loss, damage, or distress arising from the use of our services.
- We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel appointments if deemed necessary for safety or operational reasons.
8. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
- Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
