My name is Catherine. I’m a midwife of 10 years and qualified in obstetric ultrasound (pregnancy scans). I feel that being a midwife who scans benefits the families I care for because of all the experience I’ve had in all different aspects of pregnancy and birth. I am so passionate about providing the very best scanning experience to clients and their families. It’s not just a job to me, I absolutely love what I do. It doesn’t matter how many scans I do or how many births I’ve been part of, it remains a privilege to me. I adore getting to know clients and their families and I always try to make scans fun for all. I have worked in a birth centre, private scanning clinics, sexual health and contraceptive services and also in abortion care. I feel my vast experience gives me a huge amount of knowledge to provide the very best service, and has shaped me into the non judgemental , caring and compassionate midwife I am today.

I have a 2 year old son called Vance with my husband Mark. We have started this venture together as a family, working and living in Haydock. Mark did the majority of the renovations to what was an old sewing shop, helping making my dream become a reality!
We unfortunately had several miscarriages before we had our son and the care we received wasn’t always positive. We believe we went through some of the worst times to show me how to truly support someone going through pregnancy loss. I think it’s a big part of why we chose to open our own clinic. I am an open book about my own personal experiences because I hope that this will help clients I meet along the way.

We aim to raise money and work with miscarriage charities as well as other local family charities.

We will be hosting coffee mornings and breastfeeding support sessions to help build postnatal bonds. I am lucky enough to work with some amazing midwives who will also be using our clinic for their services such as hypnobirthing, feeding assessments and tongue tie divisions plus much more so follow us on social media for exciting times to come!
