Early Bonding Scan

From 6 to 13 weeks pregnant.

We completely understand that it’s a long and anxious wait until your 12 weeks NHS scan. Many women use this for peace of mind while they wait.

This scan includes:

– Confirms if it is a single or multiple
– Dates the pregnancy and gives an approximate due date
– Identifies a heartbeat and tell you how fast it’s beating.

– Receive two pictures and a scan report following your scan.

All images and a video of your scan can be sent straight to your phone to share with friends and family for an extra £10

Preparing for your early scan:
Please attend your early scan with a full bladder, we will try and perform the scan through your tummy.
Below 8 weeks pregnant it is sometimes difficult to perform the scan through your tummy and a vaginal scan may be offered to you. This is completely safe in early pregnancy and is actually recommended by NICE (national institute of clinical excellence). It is your choice if you wish to have this type of scan. Please contact us if you want to discuss this further.

Please bring your pregnancy notes with you to any scans.

Please note we are a non diagnostic clinic meaning all scans are for bonding, keepsakes and reassurance. They do not replace your NHS scans.
